THE NANDI:

Nandis are numerically the second largest of the ten Kalenjin sub-ethnic groups. Nandi are described as a warrior community that are known to have ferociously resisted the British rule in Kenya for over ten years. Furthermore, some of the finest long distance runners in the world come from the Nandi community.
